We Like
Proximity to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, which, in all honesty, is the only reason we chose this Campground
We Don’t Like
Getting told off for messing around with a ball on our pitch! 🙂
Location of Burford Caravan & Motorhome Club Site
Cotswold Wildlife Park is a popular attraction, and the Cotswold Campsite of Burford is perfectly located.
You can walk to it from your pitch, as the entrances are actually opposite each other.
There are other attractions in the area too, such as Crocodiles of the World.
Customer Service and Staff
Pleasant enough. We only really spoke to them at check-in when the lady was very nice.
The only other time was when someone came over to tell us to stop messing around with a ball near the campervan, and in doing so, was polite enough.
Showers and Toilets
One shower block, but plenty of cubicles inside.
Very typical of a caravan and motorhome club site. The shower had proper taps which we like, along with three pegs and a small shelf for your toiletries.
General Cleanliness
All good here, as this particular Cotswold Campsite was well maintained and the showers etc were well cleaned.
There was no litter, and the entrance and reception area look smart too.
Cotswold Campsite, the Facilities
Basic, but typical facilities. This was one of the Caravan and Motorhome club sites with a play park and field, albeit right over the other side of the site from where we pitched.
If you have children, then choosing a pitch near the park would be advisable.
A few times a week a food truck came in, which is becoming more common. We made use of it twice. Once was Fish & Chips, and the next time was for Breakfast.
Conclusion
A nice site, and if we ever were to ever need a Cotswold Campsite for visiting the Wildlife park, we would stay here without hesitation.
