The Important Bits
Campsite Name: Brighton CAMC Site
Location: Wilson Ave, Brighton BN2 5TS
Location
Great location, walking distance to Brighton Seafront
Toilets & Showers
Proper Shower Taps, with decent hot water albeit not too powerful
Cost
Average for the location
We Like
Easy to get into Brighton, only a 10-minute bike ride to the Marina, and about a 15-minute cycle to the main pier
We Don’t Like
Not Much. CAMC sites are pretty similar so you know what you are going to get

Campsites that are near cities, like Brighton, could potentially be noisy.
However, once you are off the main streets, we found the Brighton CAMC site to be peaceful, and quiet.
Located close to Brighton Marina and the famous Palace Pier, this site could be used for a peaceful getaway, coupled with a busy city break.
Customer Service and Staff
The lady at the reception was super nice and really helpful in guiding us towards a nice pitch.
Another lady we bumped into while walking around was pleasant too.
Offering help and answering our questions.
Showers and Toilets
Showers just as we like them. Standard for CAMC sites, and pleased to see a proper tap and not a push button that you have to keep pressing every 20 seconds.
The only downside for me was I wished there was a seat in the cubicle. If you watch the video, you will hear Suzanne’s thoughts!
I am sure there are a great choice of campsites near Brighton, but the one thing you want to be certain of is decent showers and toilets.
General Cleanliness
With the exception of the Fox problem, and them getting into the bins, as far as we could see this was spotless.
Everything was neat and tidy. We noticed no rubbish and the facilities were clean.
Facilities
Dishwashing inside. A small laundry room with one washer and one dryer. The standard motorhome service point, plus an information room and a small resident coffee cart.
There is also an automatic cassette toilet cleaning machine if you don’t want to use the old fashioned Elsan point.
The Play Park is also a good addition for the younger ones.
There is also a Tent and Glamping area, with its own car park, and set on a slight rise above the main site.
Campsites near Brighton – Conclusion
All in all, we liked it.
Its proximity to the coast and places like Brighton Marina and the Palace Pier make this the perfect stop for a varied break.
The peace and quiet of the campsite. The hustle and bustle of the beach, and the vibrancy of the city of Brighton can give you the best of many worlds.
