Snapshot Review of Henley Four Oaks
Henley Four Oaks Campsite is a great site to be based at to explore some popular spots along the River Thames. For example, you can get boat rides from Henley.
It is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site, so as a result, it has all the facilities you’d expect.
Perhaps the only grumble would be its proximity to the main road, although it didn’t bother me during the night

Location of Henley Four Oaks
Henley Four Oaks campsite is in a prime location. As a result there are some great spots to explore along the Thames.
Henley-on-Thames is within walking distance, and places like Windsor Castle (15 miles), and Marlow (7 miles) are not too far away.
The large town of Reading is about a 30-minute drive, with a decent shopping centre, and bars and restaurants.
Customer Service and Staff
The lady at reception was helpful enough, although I did not really need to speak to them after check-in.
She went through the site layout, and the map showing me where things were.
It was easy to get your bearings, because the site was mainly a simple layout, with a circular road in the middle.
Showers and Toilets
As I have said before, no campsite review is complete with reviewing the Showers and Toilets.
These were good. Although nothing fancy, the showers had very good water pressure.
They also had proper taps and not the push type buttons you have to keep pressing every 30 seconds.
In the shower, you also stood down a step, which meant the water didn’t run out onto where you may stand afterwards.
The three 3 pegs, plus the small shelf at knee height, gave you enough places to hang clothes, and towels.
General Cleanliness
Zero complaints. Tidy. Well kept and all the facilities were kept clean.
The site was virtually full, so it was a good time to test
Facilities
Typical Caravan and Motorhome Club site. Which means there is no Bar, for instance. No bells and whistles, just the Facilities you needed.
Showers, good albeit a small washing up area, a laundry and Elsan all adequate and clean.
There was also a Dog Field and a Play Area.
The bin areas were tidy, and there were two of them that I saw, along with several water points. As a result, it meant you did not have to walk too far to fill up with fresh water.
Conclusion of this campsite near Henley
Henley Four Oaks Campsite is a campsite I would return to if I needed to stay nearby. Because of it’s easy access, well maintained with all the facilities you would need.
If you are looking for a Holiday Park type campground, this won’t be for you. But for those looking for a quiet spot in a convenient location near Henley, the Henley Four Oaks is worth considering.
