The location is brilliant. In the heart of the New Forest, and walking distance to Brockenhurst with its shops and pubs

Not much.
We like CAMC sites, and this on does not alter that opinion
Location of Black Knowle – New Forest Campsite
There are a lot of New Forest Campsites in great locations, and this is no exception.
You can pitch up, and be within easy access of walks and bike rides. The site is peaceful, and zero road noise from neighbouring roads.
Also, you are a stone’s throw from pretty little New Forest villages.
Customer Service and Staff
As mentioned in previous reviews, once we are in and set up, we rarely speak to the staff. We don’t very often have an issue, and on the rare occasion we have, we have always found staff to be super helpful.
I see no reason to believe this site would be any different, and the team on duty at the time were more than helpful.

Showers and Toilets
The shower block is spacious and clean & tidy. A positive for any Campsite Review.
Any shower cubicle with proper taps, five pegs and a seat/bench gets the thumbs up from me.
The water came out hot, and the cubicle were spacious.
General Cleanliness
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Site, so the standard as we have enjoyed is other sites across the country are
Bin areas were clean. Toilets were clean. The dishwashing area was clean. The laundry area was clean.
The trend is, that the whole site was clean and neat and tidy
Facilities
Basic, as you would expect for a Caravan and Motorhome Club site. But that is what we expect from a Caravan and Motorhome Club site.
The basics are done well.
This one didn’t have a play area, but it had everything else you would need. And after all, you are in the middle of one of the UK’s best National Parks, so who needs a play area. Right?
Conclusion
With all of the New Forest Campsites on offer, this one is a great campsite nestled in a great location.
With stunning walks on your campervan doorstep and a village not much further, you can enjoy the seclusion, and peacefulness of the forest, while enjoying restaurants, bars and village shops.
What is not to love?
