Camping does not have to end just because Autumn arrives. If you are on the hunt for Winter Campsites then these 5 personal favourites are worth considering.
We have visited all of these, and in each one, I will explain why I think it is a good choice, and who it may be suitable for.
There are also links to a full campsite review for each one, plus a video showcasing all 5 winter campsites.
This was written in 2022, so if you are planning on visiting any of the below sites, it is worth checking with them direct when you book to make sure which faciliites are open.

In no particular order, let’s begin!
Top 5 Winter Campsites – The Video

Families

£34 for a fully serviced Pitch
There is the Jurassic Fun centre which houses the indoor pool. In here there is also an Arcade, Bar and Restaurant. There is even a small bowling alley!
Outside, there is a decent play park, and it is right on the beach for those refreshing winter walks plus a short drive to places like Weymouth and Dorchester.
On this list of Winter Campsites, this is the only one that is right on a beach. Odd you may think for camping in winter, but a refreshing coastal walk may be just the ticket!

Brighton CAMC Site

East Brighton Park,
Brighton BN2 5TS
Good For
Being close to a City
Est Cost
£35.60 for a fully serviced Pitch, 2 adults and 1 child
This site is a typical Caravan and Motorhome Club site, with the usual pitches, toilets and other amenities.
While there is not much to do on-site, there is plenty to do nearby.
How about a stroll down to the piteresque marina? If you have little ones, there is the vibrant pier, although some attractions may be closed for the season.
There is the Sealife Brighton, apparently the world’s oldest Aquarium.

In our list of Top Winter Campsites, you may be looking for a bit of luxury? Is so, Concierge Camping could be for you.
Not much to do onsite for the young ones, but if luxury is the thing you are looking for, you may need to look no further.

Carnon Downs CAMC Site
Address
Carnon Downs,
Truro TR3 6JJ
Good For
A bit of everything
Est Cost
£42.00 for a fully serviced Hard Standing Pitch, 2 adults and 1 child
This has a bit of everything.
A play park and games room for the kids, along with a big field for ball games.
It has really nice facilities in terms of showers and toilets, and there is a small bar, and cafe.
In addition, food vans visit I think 4 or 5 times a week, meaning you can eat and drink without doing too much work, although it would be wise to check if these came in the winter months.
