Location of Wooda Farm Holiday Park

Very Close to Bude, Wooda Farm Holiday Park is a great location to explore the west coast of Cornwall. Easy to reach North, into Devon, and within an hour or so of Newquay.

Take your time on the A39, the Atlantic Highway is a pretty drive. I favour the Bude, south to Newquay rather than north towards Devon.

Range of Facilities at this Camp Site near Bude Cornwall

  • Spacious Pitches
  • Bar / Restaurant
  • Games Room
  • Play Park & Pitch Put
  • Pitch Variety
  • Clean Amenities

Customer Service and Staff

Only spoke to them once, on arrival to ask a couple of questions about the opening hours of the bar. Very pleasant, and provided me with all the information I needed

Didn’t have to speak to them again, but I got the feeling they would be more than helpful.

Showers and Toilets

Showers are conveniently located in the middle of the field, for that which we stayed in any way. Cleaned regularly throughout the day.

The shower block on our side of the Holiday park is situated quite near our pitch, pitch E56.

Inside, there are quite a few cubicles, and the facility is regularly cleaned, including one deep clean every day. The showers themselves have push buttons, which I do not like, and there is also only one peg, which makes it awkward if you want to hang anything up.

The first shower I had was nice and hot, but the second one was not so, but perhaps I was just unlucky.

Other Amenities

Dishwashing is undercover, but outside, so it isn’t the warmest washing-up area we have been to. However, the hot water is good, and they have plugs and drainers.

There is also a large laundrette, with washer dryers, and ironing board but also a large freezer, should you need to store anything, or just refreeze your ice packs.

The motorhome service point is a large area although to may need to back in or out, or turn around if you want to use it. It has all the usual facilities, plus a chemical waste point so you can empty your toilet. .

This is also where you find the main rubbish area, at least for this side of the park.

There is another Chemical waste area, in the amenities block.

Bar and Games Room

Away from the pitches, perhaps a 4 or 5-minute walk, is the Games Room, and bar area.

The games room consists of Table Tennis and Pool, which at the time was £1 per game for the pool.

This shared an area with the bar/restaurant. Good beer, and decent food, although be warned when booking.

We did book so we could listen to the music one night, but we told on arrival, that when they are full, you are moved to another room, meaning we would miss the reason we booked for.

Luckily, a couple gave up their table so we could sit out of sight, but in earshot of the live music.

There is also another bar, the The Loft cocktail bar, but this doesn’t open until May, so we did not go in this one.

Play Area and Golf

There is a small play park near the bar area, but also a much larger play area, nearer the pitches where we were staying.

There is a rather hilly pitch and putt area if you’re a golf fan, and thankfully, a flatter tennis court.
